The Island Hideout

The Island Hideout in Koh Yao Noi is the perfect place for those who seek peace and tranquility but can’t say no to good adventure. Trust in the process as you creep along the bumpy dirt road, uphill and away from everything else on the island. You realise as soon as you arrive that you’ve made the right decision.

Luxury to some means good air conditioning, strong WiFi and someone waiting on you hand and foot. To others it is freedom, being surrounded by nature, and having the chance to become a part of something truly special.

Welcome to The Island Hideout

Take off your shoes and turn off your phone. It’s time to reset, reconnect, and rejuvenate. There’s an energy that fills the air at Island Hideout, a peaceful yet invigorating energy. The fresh air, the unbeatable views over the jungle to the ocean, and being surrounded purely by nature. In a world of concrete and technology, it’s a blessing to be free in this way.

Listen to the symphony of cicadas as they sing in harmony, with a mesmerising crescendo and synchronised end to the piece. Fall asleep to the sounds of the leaves blowing lightly in the wind. There’s something so comforting about sleeping beneath a mosquito net within an open air room, and waking up with the sunrise as the morning light illuminates the jungle below.

Take a walk through the jungle trail to the secret Hideout beach, an untouched haven of warm turquoise water and soft sandy beach, the edges shaded by overhanging palm trees. Hideout’s beach clean-up project entices you to fill a trash bag with washed up plastics whilst you’re there. Bring it back up to the Hideout and they’ll thank you with an amazing cocktail on the house to enjoy while taking in the spectacular sunset.

The saying “it’s the people that make a place” stands all too relevant at The Island Hideout. What is already an incredible property and experience is further enhanced because of the beautiful people who work there. Not only that, but the Hideout seems to draw people who all have a shared appreciation for nature, for adventure, and for relaxation.
